My Tarot Reading Ethics Manifesto

I take tarot reading responsibly and ensure my querent(client) has a clear understanding of the reading and empower them to achieve the outcome which they desire. 

Maintaining Strict Confidentiality

I will keep everything the querent shares/reveals during a reading confidential, unless the situation is possibly life-threatening. 

I will not divulge the querent’s sensitive/personal information or the reading to another person without permission from the querent. 

All my readings will be held in the strictest confidence unless there is a threat of danger where the querent may harm him/herself as required by the court of law.

I will use the querent's information only for the purpose of the tarot reading , unless permission has been given otherwise.

Respect and Compassion 

I will treat everyone with equal respect, regardless of their origins, race, religion, gender, age or sexual preference.

I will not perform readings that require invasion of someone other than my querent’s privacy.

I will not perform reading for anyone under 18 years old without the permission of a parent or guardian. 

​

I will respect the querent’s rights to refuse or cancel their reading at any time, regardless of prior consent. 

​

As the querent is willing to share private/sensitive/vulnerable information during the reading, I will be compassionate with the querent’s circumstances while being honest and non-judgmental in the reading.

Tarot Professionalism

I will serve the best interests of my querents, performing my duties as a professional tarot reader without the intention of causing any harm. 

​

I will give my full attention to the querent during the session so that I can fully understand the querent’s concerns. 

​

I will carry out the reading to the best of my ability with as much details as I can responsibly provide. 

​

I will strive to provide a positive direction and guidance to assist the querent to find practical and empowering courses of action. If conducting a predictive reading, the purpose of my predictive readings is to show what the future/outcome may look like as a result of the querent’s current action or inaction and attitudes and provide the outlook of the different possibilities to the querent so that he/she is able to make an informed decision whether to change the course based on the querent's free will.

I will offer my opinion and advice but will not interfere with the free will of the querent. Any decisions or actions made by the querent after the reading are the sole responsibility of the querent.

If requested, I will reveal my tarot qualifications, including educational credentials and experience. 

​

If I am not able to provide a good reading/answer during the session, the reading will be canceled and a full refund will be provided to the querent. 

​

I will constantly strive to improve my Tarot reading skills and to continue learning and grow and work towards a greater higher purpose.

Limitations

​

I will not give advice in areas for which I am not trained/qualified in.

​

I will recommend querent to consult licensed professional for advice of legal, financial, medical or psychological nature that I am not qualified to provide. 

​

I will not perform any readings related to prediction of winning lottery numbers or any readings to represent death or illness. 

​

I reserve the right to refuse to perform any readings not adhering to my code of ethics.
